Lost, That Night

Lost, That Night

I wander among the lazy leaves
Which float on the air, which smells of hay,
And pause at the sound -- a voice that weaves
A melody sweet -- I long to stay.

A smile that's like the sunrise bright,
The gentlest touch smooths my brow.
My wish is to fly back to that night.
I long to, but I don't know how.
